Jacolby Long progressing better than expected? ISU in on a better guard late? Who knows, what a strange request for release this late. Where does he go?

Yeah, I wonder. At the very least, this must increase Long's chances of meaningful minutes.

No brainer to me. If its for anything other than family illness I'd want to restrict all known future opponents as well.

It looks like Texas (Big 12) was in on his list of potential suitors. In addition, I see that SMU was in the running. I would not be shocked if he ended up at SMU.

Well this has been an eventful spring for the staff. Just read CW update and sounds like his AAU coach took a job with CAL and they could be in play. Prohm will try to re-recruit him too... though that has to be a longshot as he could have voiced his concerns already and been reassured with the decommitment.

I am curious if Prohm does have a mystery transfer wing/guard that could be coming that could have influenced this decision.

In any case this is going to be a busy summer for the staff now.

This seems like very (pie in the sky) wishful thinking to me. My money is on AAU coach/handler, etc.
