Welcome to the Cyclones. Think we just added another good one. These kids that come in as lesser known athletes, then work on their craft to become special are my favorites. Great to have Caleb Grill as one of the good guys.

Grill also has a look of a player that will annoy the shut out of other teams. Like those duke white guy shooters that u want to punch. I have been drinking but we needed a dude like that.

Stauskas is 3” taller with a comparable wingspan, so I’m not sure that’s a good one, but I’m also struggling to come up with a better comp.

Adam Haluska is what comes to mind when watching his highlights. Pure athlete has a lot of upside and room for growth developing basketball skills.

It's a pretty cool part of ISU's program that you get tweeted by guys who have just recently been playing quality minutes in the NBA playoffs. Not sure that happens at a lot of programs.

Monte did the same thing and he's still playing quality minutes in the NBA playoffs.

I'm concerned that he might be a really good college player that really likes Ames and wants to do well for his teammates.

But then he might be there for four years, and then Ames won't be known for pumping out fringe-NBA players that lost to teams with other fringe-NBA players.
