Platinum. What's messed up is we would be tied with Florida State for #3. How the hell are they pulling that....and they are still in play for Norvell.

Yeah it makes sense to have diminishing returns for additional recruits as there are only 5 players that can play at a time. But it doesn't account for how much room you actually have. If we wern't losing all 5 starters and instead 1 or 2 starters and 5 bench players this rating system would make sense. But it assumes you are going to really just get meaningful minutes from 3 guys like a normal class. To assume Manny won't be a starter for us is crazy. Yeah so in other words the system is ok for a 1 size fits all but doesn't have enough variables to truly measure a class.

I think the ranking system will improve, isn't only a couple years old? 247 has been impressive though, quickly becoming the #1 service.

Yeah if they added in transfer values and projected returning minutes available as a weighting variable to a team this system would be truly great in measuring projected impact to a team of annual recruiting. Right now it is just something to look at but the ranking isn't that important typically for ISU because of our use of transfers typically and this year our atypical available floor time. That said most years a truly accurate system would make Kentucky off the charts (as they should be).

Was just thinking that. Had all of his visits set then suddenly canceled them all and new visits to new schools emerged. Strange.

I believe Moore's father had a stroke as his visits were approaching. I'm sure that had a big effect on the visits but not necessarily on the odd change in his choice of schools. Mac Irvin Fire doesn't have the greatest reputation.

Getting 2 of the Long/Norvell/Moore trio would be unreal.

Florida St has been killing it on the recruiting trail lately. Leonard Hamilton is a really good recruiter.
