I think that Xavier should realize that Iowa State has a **** ton of scholarships to hand out next year. If he thought that Iowa State was only going to take one point guard, he's crazy. Assuming Monte isn't back, Iowa State will have 0 returning point guards next year. If that's the demand that his camp has, then we don't want him.
If Simpson thinks he's good, he won't be afraid of competition. Especially for a fast paced team that could have 2-4 guards on the floor at a time. Not all PGs have to see all their minutes strictly at PG.
I don't think we're going to lose out on Simpson and we will have two PGs! Murray St I believe always did too. So who cares what Jerry did they are always changing their picks. I as well think no one truly pushed him to commit bc that is his decision and his alone to commit.

I think opinions would definitely turn on how good we can continue to be in the immediate future (meaning the year after this). If we could snag Malou as well, we'd have a hell of a team, on paper at least.
Why is Nick Babb listed as a sophomore with a red shirt already used on the scholly chart but has four years left?
Just an error most likely, he is a redshirt sophomore effective this year. So he played his freshman year at Arkansas, is redshirting this year, will have 3 years of eligibility starting in 2016-2017 labeled a redshirt sophomore
We have so many guys for SF/PF I like Arlando Cook, Malou, Romello, Horne, Young, Greek freak, and Tyler Cook. That is my order of wants.
And again position that brings concern to me is SG just not sold anymore on Coffey and Jakoby Long, but I do think that Long will fill that spot.
If I was Simpson, now that Jackson committed, I'd be a little worried about Monte coming back. That would mean he could possibly be number 3 on the depth chart, and its not like there's gunna be a bunch of playing time available at the 2.
Here's an update on A. Cook after the unofficial to Arkansas. It says ISU will get a visit, which is nice.

I think I saw a month or two ago we weren't in his top 5. I was never that impressed with him anyway.
