Recruit Lists v2.0

Isn't he the player who's dad went to Mississippi State? Maybe I've confused him with someone else. If so, he'll be a tough get. I wonder if Prohm is really pushing the "Cameron Payne was a lottery pick who played pg for me"- card??

There's a zero percent chance that he's not playing that card. Hopefully next year or the following he'll be able to say three straight PG's in the NBA

And honestly you'd have to listen. Just like guys saying Calipari gets guys to the NBA. Prohm can hopefully sell getting his last 3 PG's drafted. I'm perfectly fine being PG U. Team runs through the PG, if you have an NBA PG, you are always going to be decent.

Touche. Honestly I can't think of one pg who was on a truly bad team

I wouldn't disagree that coach Hoiberg had some influence with Diante being drafted. But Diante's Dad, **** Garrett played in the NBA for a few seasons. So the bloodline in the association was there. If you don't think these players use the NBA pedigree to do some politicking your absolutely foolish!

Cough....Diante Garrett....cough. But that was an exception to the rule, and I don't think he would have even got a shot at the NBA if it wasn't for Fred.

I don't think diante played on a bad team under Hoiberg, that team overachieved like crazy and almost beat the Morris twins.

You really think if Hoiberg wasn't there his senior year, and he replicated Junior year stats he would have even got a shot?

Again, I think his Senior year under Hoiberg got him a shot to at least be seen. I don't see any of Jordan's kids in the NBA, if it was just about who your dad was....I'm just saying.

Anyway, back to recruiting. Two known top 100 recruits visiting in August.

Xavier Simpson and who else?

@miller_zack: 2017 G Kobe King says he will visit Iowa State the first week of August

Obviously we knew he was going to visit but now we know when in August he will. Do we know exactly when Simpson will be visiting? Curious if they'll be on campus at the same time.

2 of the 3 (Simspon, Carter, King) and pair that w/ Noskowiak our backcourt is in great shape for the forseeable future. It'll allow Prohm to swing for the fences on the recruiting trail and focus on frontcourt players.
