Getting that first really good southern player will be big. That makes it easier for others to make a similar choice.

They don't scare me. It's been a long time since either of those teams have even made the tournament. Kids nowadays have short memories and will likely be more attracted to a school like ISU over the other two since we have actually made the tourney recently.

Don't sleep on these teams. Mississippi State has a top 20 recruiting class and a lot of these kids want to stay in the Southeast. It'll be interesting to see how Prohm does with these recruits but it certainly won't be easy to land them.

I think now our bigger problem will be recruiting top players. Once on campus, they will grow and we will do well. Now that the national pub is gone with Fred, it will be more difficult to get noticed.

That is why it is important to have a great run this year and get Prohm's mug all over national TV.

No need to be scared but don't think for a second that they aren't formidable foes for our recruiting efforts down there. They may be coming off a bit of a down trend but they have new coaches and are the local teams. ISU is a long-*** ways away for some of these guys.

Good thing Prohm knows how to relate to them.

Was watching him at Peach Jam earlier today. Super exciting & interesting to watch. Will be interesting to follow his career in college. You wouldn't think a 5 foot tall player would ever make it in D1 but he has multiple offers & he's playing well in the EYBL so we'll see.

Was watching him at Peach Jam earlier today. Super exciting & interesting to watch. Will be interesting to follow his career in college. You wouldn't think a 5 foot tall player would ever make it in D1 but he has multiple offers & he's playing well in the EYBL so we'll see.
