He seemed like a reach given what we were going thru.

I'd live to see Prohm flip some 4 or 5 star kid to us right out of the gate. I'm anxious to see how quickly things progress once he gets his staff appointed.

That would be great but considering Prohm will just now be targeting those type players we all need to hold (not lower) expectations until his staff has the summer to identify targets and build the relationships. CFer's shouldn't be disappointed if he doesn't get a big time difference maker right out of the gate. I don't expect a HS player to commit to ISU until the Fall at the earliest, though a Transfer or JC player could. Though if Prohm is able to nab a 4-5 star this summer it would bode very well for his HC prospects and the state of the program.

I remember somebody mentioned on a thread that they hoped Prohm would go after guys he always wanted but knew he couldn't get at Murray. It looks like this is what he's doing & I like that a lot.

Well... Prohm is going after high level athletes... I can appreciate that. I liked the quickness of Jordan Bone, seems like he could get to the lane with ease.

Saw on the Racer board today they are freaking out because they think Bryce Jones is coming here with Small. Apparently he deleted some tweet saying he is coming and started following Cyclone Insiders and cyclone report....He is a juco PG.... funny I was looking for his profile and thought that guy looks just like BDJ and realized They had the same name (duh and then found the other Bryce Jones).... if this kids middle name is Dejean may be a red flag not sure we need amother PG but they just offered 3 today so...http://sports.yahoo.com/usc/basketball/recruiting/player-Bryce-Jones-165854

When Morris is done Prohm will likely have had his last 3 PG's drafted so we may as well use that to our advantage.

Cooke and Noskowiak are sort of combo guard so they can co-exist with another true point

Agree. Jones would need to be a hell of a talent considering he is a 6'0" 180 pg in MM's class.

I agree just pointing out they are having a melt down amongst their 7 posters over there. I see this kid as someone who likely wouldnt play unless prohm sees something in him. Not saying he is and frankly dont think we would but seems to be exploring his options. Could be he found out small was coming here and started checking us out.

He may be in an odd position because who knows where tj lands this late in the year, if anywhere, and what's NN gunna do if he has nowhere to follow tj?

Hasn't he already signed? I'm assuming he stays either way. He's already gotten out of a commitment to another school, and it's not like he had many better options.
