Recruit Lists v2.0

So, Cunningham?

I guess if he really wants to go to Bradley, so be it, but UNI 80 Bradley 46.

My personal feeling is that there is more than meets the eye with our recruitment of him. Maybe it's cardinal and gold glasses, but I think he would have already committed here, but we're waiting to see about RV and how our scholarship situation unfolds.

I could be way off, but that's how I feel.

We have 2 scholarships open with Bluford transfering so I highly doubt its scholarship related.

If Cunningham wanted to come here, we would have accepted it. That's why we offered him a scholarship.

If Vaughn wanted to come here, we would have made room. It's the name of the game, guys transfer out every year. Bluford leaving supports what many of us have been saying all along. There would be/is room for both.

Fred did say earlier this season that he wanted to save a scholly for transfers. RV and Cunningham one or the other scenario could still be in play.

This thread fell all the way to page eighteen. Yikes. Here's a bump for all of you.

@TravisHines21: Darien Williams, a 6-9 Iowa Western freshman, is expected to be on an unofficial visit to Iowa State tonight, per a source.

Darien Williams | #23 | F | Iowa Western Community College - NJCAA Stats

21-46 from three.

Was on a team with 3 top-20 players in high school as a senior. Two in Class of 2014 (Isaac Hamilton to UCLA and Daniel Hamilton to UConn) and 1 in Class of 2015 (Tyler Dorsey to 'Zona).

Okay, what am I doing wrong? I clicked on the linked site, saw your 3 pt. numbers, etc., but it says 3.8 minutes per game. huh? That can't be, can it?

Well, if he's scoring 15.2 ppg and 6.6 rebounds per game in 3.8 minutes, then I'd love to see what he could do in 20. But it does say 3.8 mpg. Has to be an error.

Hopefully we land a couple of the top high school posts we are after for the Class of 2015, but I am guessing we end up with at least one juco post with the 4-5 scholarships we will likely have open. Guys like Williams or any of the three IHCC posts would turn out to be solid gets imo.

The film tape below is Williams as a high school junior (two years ago). I like that these highlights are only from one game. A lot of good things displayed. Also, his teammate Banks is a freshman at Penn State (although it looks like he is not playing this year). Both look like Hoiberg type guys imo.

An update on another potiental big with outside skill set that ISU has offered.

Sedee Keita - Yahoo! Sports

Keita - a 2016 power forward out of Vermont Academy (VT) - is another unranked big man who has a different style to his game that will gain more notice soon. Already holding offers from Penn State, Boston College, VCU, Villanova, Fairfield, Iowa, Iowa State and Rutgers, he was a 6-foot-1 guard at one point in his life, but continued to grow and is currently at 6-foot-9. His guard skills have carried over to make him a threat on the perimeter. Keita can drive on the perimeter, dish it out to open teammates or take it to the rim himself. His handle is fairly impressive for his size and age. As his jumper still needs more repetition, it is not his perimeter game that needs improvement but his post game. A stretch four, Keita has the ability to be somewhat similar to Kentucky bound Karl Towns with guard and post skills for a big man if he continues to improve down low. Still not that strong, his improvement on the defensive side of the ball is much needed, as well as mental consistency when making a mistake. If he can get it all together and stay positive throughout mistakes on the court, we're looking at a very special prospect.

The individual game logs say 1 minute for most games. Apparently they aren't really tracking the minutes consistently.
