Recruit Lists v2.0

Through the EYBL’s first three stops, Cunningham averaged 11.7 points, 44 rebounds and shot .515 from the floor and .303 from 3-point range.

Holy crap, he averaged 44 rebounds.

Ha, I noticed that too. We won't have to worry about rebounding with him here. He must grab EVERY miss.

Hines at the Ames Tribune is a huge asset to ISU fans. He gets what it takes to survive (and thrive) as a modern sports writer. It will not be long before he is at a bigger outlet than the Tribune.

If by some miracle we get Abu, he could be Melvin 2.0. A hybrid that can go inside and out but can rebound well.

I was thinking about this comparison today as well - not so much because of style of play, but after watching several interviews - the kid is really bright, and an advanced speaker for his age. Plus, I think he is a wiz in the classroom - both like Melvin.

If you are in the mood to learn nothing, watch or read an interview with Vaughn. He's not sayin' nuthin.

I really like the looks of this Austin Grandstaff kid. Appears to have a smooth, high release on his shot, decent ballhandling, and some solid athleticism around the rim. I was also pleasantly surprised at his size as he looks pretty well put together for a 6'4" soon-to-be-junior in high school.
