Recruit Lists v2.0

You are my new source.

My sources say we are one of the top 4 for Vaughn. Honestly people that believe they know are as stupid as that.

Hey, read the last line of my post before being a ****, ****. This whole thread is conjecture, and I could surely read things into your posts and make sarcastic remarks too. Sorry for having an opinion based on what I see.

edit: sorry I'm a bit of a **** too.

I agree. However, my last name is johnson and I didn't name my son after former Cycleone quarterback Steele Jantz. Would yave been funny though.

Does anyone know why we aren't recruiting these kids? They are both top 10 post players from Milwaukee.

TJ has a great Wisconsin connection. We have had Lucious, Diante, Godfrey, and Mike Taylor all from Milwaukee. Then Scott, Thomas, and Antwon Oliver from Wisconsin also. Granted the majority of the guys we have signed from Wisconsin are guards, but still I just don't get why we aren't recruiting these two players.

Well if this is anything like football, we are waiting for Iowa to offer first so we know that he is good enough.

Plus the answers that elude to style of play and run and gun offense.......um, we led the nation in 3's and were top 5 in scoring. He eludes to he wants to be on a type of team that we are. Plus relationship with the coach, which how can you not like Fred.....just saying, we have to be top 3-5. You can use me as a source now. ISU is in Vaughns top 5

It's allude, not elude.

Thanks, yes, can we please turn this thread into an English/spelling/grammar thread. That would be fantastic. I hate learning about our recruits. I love learning about the correct usage of allude.

Calvin was from the Twin Cities if I'm remembering correctly.

I wasn't referring to you. I was more poking fun of the tarheelfan from an earlier thread. Sorry if it came out as being a ****.

I love how college basketball never really stops. Whether it's the actual season or AAU recruiting season, there is always news out there that you can find.

Not to mention transfer recruiting which is like a nice little mini-recruiting season of its own at ISU

Sounds like Duke, Kansas, Georgetown, and home state Wisconsin are all high on Diamond Stone. Maybe we didn't go after him because we knew we wouldn't have a chance, or he told us we were low on the totem pole. But with the heavy hitters coming after him, you would assume he'd be a long shot for us to land.

AJ Turner update.

Dorian's Pride's Dynamic Duo

The duo of AJ Turner and Josh Jackson isn't your typical once, but on the AAU scene having a top-tier freshman and a soon-to-be stud junior playing together is nothing new. This move has brought out dozens of high-major schools, including Michigan, Ohio State, Syracuse, Georgetown, Florida, Iowa State and others to their games.

Turner, a 2014 guard from De La Salle (MI), continues to improve his game. With a majority of mid-major offers, his goal is to get to the next level and play at the highest level. As local powerhouses Michigan and Michigan State have hosted him on campus for visits, neither has presented a scholarship his way. If he elevates his game this spring and summer, the high-major offers are bound to be extended.

Fred was watching Vaughn today, sounds like he had a good game.

Adam Zagoria@AdamZagoria1hJust talked to @PeteKaffey. Said Coach K, Roy Williams, Bill Self, Rick Pitino and Fred Hoiberg were among those watching @ShowtimeMr in LA

Adam Zagoria@AdamZagoria55m.@PeteKaffey said @ShowtimeMr went for 31 pts, 7 assists & 5 rebounds vs. ICP Elite and wants to be No. 1 in Class of 2014

Here's an article from the Zags Blog

I heard that kid from Tulane, isn't really considering us anymore. With Pitt, Gonzaga, Temple, Maryland and Arizona as the list tenatively. Per espn rumors.
