We were talking about the Unibrow.. anyway back on topic I think Vaughn is a good basketball player.

Well, foolish me, I thought it had to do with Vaughn or one of the recruits we were actually going after versus playing for Kentucky. I forgot, everyone they recruit is automatically the next unibrow.

So you would rather be the star on a moderate team than be a star on the team that won the national championship?

So I'm fuming right now, but yes, there are anthony davis's and nerlens noel's everywhere every year............ sarcasm pirate

We're not talking about the .03%, we are talking about the other top 5% that can be another part of the cog in kentucky or a stud anywhere else.

If you had 1 year to play college ball, would you rather want to go to the place that has the best chance to win a national championship, or be the star on a team that makes the NCAA tournament, but only gets to the Sweet 16?

If I had one year to play college ball, I'd wanna play at IOWA STATE!!!!!!

When ISU recruiting (info) is slow, there's no reason general college bball recruiting can't be discussed here. After all, there is precedence for it in this very thread.

Well we are 1 of 10 he is talking to at the moment. Jarvis' sister said he loves Iowa State. The state of Minnesota loves us.

I'm going to wait until we actually land a couple of good HS players from MN before I anoint this as our backyard in recruiting.

According to his AAU coach, Rashad Vaughn is going to KU's Midnight Madness. Custer also tweeted last night that he's going there as well.

Eric Bossi is reporting ISU offered Eric Davis, 2015 gaurd.

"A crafty, high-scoring 6-foot-2 combo guard from Michigan, Eric Davis has a nose for making things happen on the offensive end. He plays with confidence, changes speeds and gets a lot done. Iowa State just offered and Michigan, Michigan State, Duke, North Carolina and N.C. State have already been keeping tabs."

Rivals profile.
Eric Davis - Yahoo! Sports

He must be growing, listed at 5'11" on yahoo link you posted, but 6'2" in the Bossi report

Nevermind, apparently Vaughn isn't going to KU this weekend.
I think Custer no longer is either.

Edit: I'm not sure where I heard this so it's probably wrong. Maybe I was confused with Vaughn.

We want Custer bad, just cross your fingers that KU doesn't offer him. After that it'll likely come down to us and Okie State.

When it comes to Okie State, keep an eye on Stevie Clark. He's the top PG in Oklahoma (OKC), and the Cowboys are recruiting him hard. While Custer may be very interested in Oklahoma State, he appears to be a "Plan B" for them.
