Recommendations for Attending K-State GAme

The renovated stadium includes toilets at midlevel for the upper stands. But the angles and distances have not changed. We sat in the corner before and didn't find the seats all that bad. Higher in the corner is better. That's where ISU's band will be if they venture down for the game.
Your idea of "not bad" and mine are significantly different.

We are planning to go down this year also. We have a room in Topeka at Homewood Suites on Friday night. Saturday we are staying near downtown KC.

Depending on Game times we might think about checking out the Baylor/Kansas Game in Lawrence.

I've been to most of the stadiums in the Big 12 and sat in the visitors section at each one. Kansas State was by far the worst place I've sat in any stadium so far. Assuming I go again someday I will find aftermarket tickets instead.

Check out Kites Bar & Grill in Aggieville. Went to the 2017 game as well and there were several groups of Cyclone fans there. Got tickets from a scalper just outside the stadium for $20 each right before the game. Refs did a real screw job on us that day, but still had a good time.

We were at Kite’s before the 2013 game, and Clones and Cats joined together for a “F**K THE JAYHAWKS” chant.

The best was a guy who had his kid in there. He covered his kids ears, and kept chanting.

Thanks, That looks amazing but it is not available for those dates. For the same price on Air BNB I got a small 3 bedroom house supposedly withing walking distance of stadium.
Well, that would be in the student rental housing marketplace, I presume. Not terrible, generally, but not like the lake place above. Good luck.

Another option ...

I think I’ll do what I did last year for KU. Stay in Overland Park Friday night and wake up early to head Manhattan. Last year we stayed in KC after and might do the same again.

I’m eyeing some upper box tickets. For those that have been in the stadium, do these justify the extra money (+$20) over the normal uppers? Is there a fan site I should check before pulling the trigger? I want good seats but don’t really like paying the crazy fees on tm and stubhub.

What does 'upper box' mean?
I was asking the same thing. It looks to me that the first 8 or so rows on the uppers on partially sectioned off. Was hoping you could shed some more light on it.

I ended up buying tickets off of vivid because they are the official reseller and slightly cheaper. I decided to go behind the visitor bench but wasn’t happy when I finally saw the seats (not listed on the site till you buy) were 20 and 21 which I think pushes us from the 40 to the 30.
