I received my 3 tickets yesterday and surprised how bad they are. I paid $260 each (for all sessions) I believe. My seats are Section 317 Row Q which is highest row in corner of upper deck. I didn't think my seats would be on the floor obviously, but these seats are terrible. Did I do something wrong when I ordered? How were seats assigned?

Thank you

There were 2 price points. I'm going to guess that the higher price tickets included all 100 and 200 level seats and the 300 level seats on the sides. The lower price point is probably the 300 level in the corner and behind the basket.

The 100 level seats along the sideline are probably mostly reserved for the teams that are there and corporate people. Maybe there are some that got those seats through the sale.

We bought ours through Iowa State the day they went on sale. I knew that Iowa State fans would buy them quickly. We got 8 seats in the 100 level behind the basket. I'm pretty pleased. I'm not sure if Iowa State assigned seats based on Cyclone Club donation, but we are only $1000 donors.

Cyclone fans will be watching the Hawkeyes play. not a good deal in my book. That being said, I sure hope all of the Iowa State fans show up in Cardinal and make a point. I want the announcers to say: "Look at all of the Cyclone fans here, even though Iowa State is in St. Louis, Denver, etc.! It's a shame ISU couldn't play here." Otherwise, this is the biggest boondoggle EVER.

No way I am watching Iowa. Going to sell my 4 lowers and make a ton of money.

Boondoggle? You have the chance to go to Des Moines' first ever NCAA tournament. That alone is reason enough to support the event in hopes of bringing it back in future years. And if you decide not to attend one or more sessions (like the Iowa session, for example), you'll make your money back and a whole lot more by reselling your ticket well above face value. Think about how good it will feel to make a Hawkeye or Jayhawk pay twice as much for your seat as you did.

This is no boondoggle. It is an opportunity.

My family is going because we like to watch basketball. I don't care if it's Dayton, Iowa, etc. Sure it would be awesome if we were playing in Des Moines, but unfortunately thats not possible. Where are your seats located and how much do you want for them?

Eh this will fund my trip and then some to go wherever ISU goes.

Way too much.

Wish I could have picked up tickets, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much to watch teams I don't care about. I knew DSM would still have a good showing no matter what, but I was hoping the pricing would be a bit better anyway. Ah well, market sets the price, I suppose.

Noticed I had a UPS package between doors yesterday morning, and realized that my tickets were delivered and left there without having to sign for them. Glad no one else had noticed too. Not sure how long they were there. Don't use that door in the winter.

I have two for sale, Sec 108 Row K, seat 22 - 23. Will only sell all sessions and the pair. Asking $1,500 for pair. Checked StubHub and this seems to be the going rate right now.

Good Luck to you with that price! As there was with the Rose, there will be plenty that get stuck with their overpriced seats as the market settles.

Good luck. Think the price was $1,100 each before the edit, so at least this price is more "reasonable," but unlikely to sell for that amount.

Im thinking if KU and Iowa end up there it might pay best to sell individual sessions.

I got 8 tickets in section 101 and threw a couple on Stubhub to see what I could get and somebody paid nearly $1700 for my pair. I only got $1315 after all the fees, so about right for the market for now though. (at $1500/pair)

...Jeepers! You're gonna be closer to your car than the court!

When you ordered your tickets your web cam snapped a picture and then they assign seats by looks. The best looking people obviously sit closest to the court for the television cameras. I'm in 101 row V, where did you say your seats were again?

Do you think the buyer thought Section 101 at Wells Fargo would be half-court? Surprise!

No, Not unless they can't read the huge seating diagram right in front of them when they purchase the tickets.

Just to add I had the lowest priced lower level tickets for sale on Stubhub. Prices are much, much higher than that for center court.
