So suddenly the answer is to combine both conferences that none of the networks want to give money too. Ok.
We should've added Louisville ten years ago when the Big East died.
No way they got that worked out over night.
Sounds like GK is grasping at straws by convincing everyone to sign a GOR and then figuring it out later.
Based on the wide variety of reports, he's got nothing and just sounds like he's throwing all sorts of **** against the wall.

Nope. Both conferences will still get picked apart by the SEC and B1G eventually.
FSU/Clemson are leaving for sure. Worst case for us in Pac/acc merger is everybody else stays and we are roughly even with that huge conference.
This is the chaos we expected on PAC-12 Judgement Day and even with proper preparation, this is still so maddening to see unfold.
Depends on what they mean by merger. But if it means merging the conferences and has a media deal tied in there, then FSU, Clemson, etc. have their golden parachute to jettison out. There's no way that doesn't give them the leverage to null in void the current ACC GOR.
LOL ACC deal sucks worse than the Pac...and FSU, Clemson etc all want to leave. Sounds like a great plan. These people are idiots.

It makes perfect sense they would stay together. PAC has been kicking the can since USC left. That’s all this terrible Apple deal + unequal revenue sharing is doing.

Don't disagree, but it'd be better for us if the left over PAC and ACC schools didn't have another option. If PAC dies now, the only other option for left over ACC schools would be the Big12.
