I don't think that's meant as a compliment. Fresno is not a particularly nice place.
Been a while since I heard the context, but it was more so the Iowa nice type of comment.
Yea, seems like FSU's president has actually hundred$ of million$ of reason$ to promote the idea of Big12 interest. Two-thirds of the money was going to the academic side of FSU and the sales tax proposal was previously rejected by voters.
