Rasheed Sulaimon dismissal

Haven't heard anything yet. All I know is Coach K just announced that he has been dismissed from the program.
I was shocked to see this happen. I knew he didn't start but I thought he was a main contributor. Wonder if we offer.
Not like I've watched a ton of Duke games, but it seems like I was seeing less of him this year than before, and when he was in there, he was making mistakes quite often. Small sample size, but just my impression.

Not sure what the necessary obligations would be, but probably involves grades or team rules. Would be a huge grab for the team in 2 years when there are going to be a lot of question marks.
He was better as a freshman than he is this year. Crazy for him to be dismissed today, following the game last night. It must be something pretty serious.
He would fit nicely into the program, good one ball defender, can play the point, has the ability to knock down shots. Go get him Fred.

Looks like he's scored in double figures in about half their games.
Averaging 19 minutes and 7.5 points per game.
Minutes have dipped a little lately but I wouldn't say drastically.

Declining PT each year, as well as PPG. Not a bad shooter from 3. I guess it depends on what the obligations were that he wasn't meeting.

True. Personally I'd rather see a guy like Rasheed who has some college experience under his belt vs a Freshman. But like you said, Fred's decision to make.
I don't see it. He is going to finish out the school year there, and would only have one year left after sitting out a year. Not a position of great need at that time, plus I think ISU is in a position now, and college basketball is such that there are plenty of quality transfers available each year without having to take players that have been booted for violating some sort of team rules or whatever, if they are going to take transfers at all.
