Really? Ole Miss is undefeated, has better wins than we do, and has absolutely throttled teams.
If we win the next couple likely not much movement (barring losses from teams ahead of us)....the jumps happen later when we beat OU...twice.

Looking at AP poll and 8 of 10 Big12 schools ranked or receiving votes. BU and KU are only ones unranked \ not receiving votes.
After a 48-3 beatdown, a ranking drop for Iowa State still applies to our buddy Rece Davis. He drops us this week from 19 to 22.

Just saw an article from 247 sports that has Iowa State ranked 7th in the Big 12 right now. The only teams below us were Baylor, Tech, and Kansas.
Just go out and beat them. That will take care of the rest.
Rankings don’t matter until the CFP Poll. Obviously it’s nice to see and have an idea, but the playoff poll ranked us higher than the AP and Coaches Polls did last year.
There will likely be a lot of drop outs this week and new teams in as the ranked teams took a beating overall. Personally don't think ISU is a ranked team at the moment so not worried about falling out. We need to show we deserve it before being ranked.
So far we look like the 7th best team in our conference. Don’t think it shakes that way, but for now it looks it.
2-2 with wins against UNI and UNLV we should be out of the top 25.
