Ranking the Big 3 Bracketologists

I agree, I think it was swapped to make each closer geographically (better attendance potential). Perhaps not common but I'm sure it has happened previously (but only if teams are close to the seed line).

Expanding on the concept -- It would seem to give the 11 and 10 advantage over the 6/7 for "crowd support," but the 2/3 seed teams then might get a slightly weaker opponent (seed-wise) in round 2. ... Not sure if I explained it clearly.
It seems like Boise St and Murray St got swapped too. Boise should have been a 7 seed, but a “geo swap” there puts Murray St up from an 8 to a 7 seed and play in Indianapolis, and Boise goes to Portland but drops to 8. Kentucky and Gonzaga being the 1/2 that have their round 2 affected.

Buzz Williams certainly wasn't a fan of the committee.

Thought Notre Dame gained on basis of name recognition. May have been the committees “mistake”. Not sure A&M deserved their spot, only that ND was picked for viewing purposes.

I'm sure Buzz Williams would have been making all the same points if A&M were in the field.
I do agree with him that based on almost every criteria A&M should have been in. It really doesn’t make sense at all. They even have a win over Notre Dame in Maui. I wish he elaborated more on the corruption of the committee members. Is there something specific he thinks happened where some ND alumni rigged it? Sometimes people make judgment calls that go against you, but claiming corruption to me is a bigger deal.

Yes, at a difference of 1.48 seed line variance (9.52 to 11 seed). Boise State was second at 1.06 (6.94 to 8 seed). ISU probably should have stayed on the 10 line and just swap places with Miami, FL.
I posted in another thread, but here is the breakdown of the votes for seeds in the Bracket Matrix
