Except for BoxsterCy, seriously, don't listen to him speakin' or writin' dat English.

With that said, I do say "by accident" and even after 40 plus years in Minnesota I don't say "Can you borrow me that."

The correct Minnesota vocabulary can be studied at length in the Coen Brothers' classic film "Fargo".

You betcha.

Oh, gosh, I was absolutely not clear. The red bolded part is my vote for why some say "on accident." I definitely do not want to appear so high and mighty that readers infer I am telling them to ignore our fine RTT posters.

"In" unless there's an actual line on the floor or ground. Then I will stand "on" the line, regardless of whether there's a line to be in.

I found this meme and had to post it - if I get banned, it'll be worth it. I know you're with me on this.

It drives me crazy when idiot announcers say a team is trying to get untracked. It makes no sense.

I go crazy with the hook and ladder. Hook and lateral folks.

Receiver 1 runs a hook, which is also known as a curl (looks like a fish hook), sometimes hooks are a little flatter or come back a little further but many times the same. Second receiver runs a drag, an out, stop and slant, anything that will place them right behind the reception a split second after it. It is then lateraled back to the second receiver. Hook and lateral.
