No. Prosecutors work on behalf of the people (or at least they are supposed to). A complaint was made to the police who charged the dude, and then I prosecuted him.
Gosh. Goes to show, even the best laid plans can fail. He almost committed the perfect crime.
overhead a commercial for the 7k/week sweepstakes. Some lady at the end says, we can pay off some bills. How many bills you got lady that 7k/week will pay off some?

Good question, they are a little more welcoming than USA is to them. Was talking with a supervisor at a resort last week. One of his parents is British so he is getting a British passport because vacationing to USA with his Mexican passport requires the hassle of a Visa and the expense of it (read $$). Coming for a vacation just isn't really an option. Not required if he gets his British passport. Because of the Visa hassle he and wife are going to vacation in Canada this season. He's a white collar exec type, he ain't looking to jump ship and pick avocados in California.
I wish I wasn't a bilingual illiterate. Throw a little tan on me and some of the staff at the resort open conversations to me in Spanish rather than English at a resort this time of year where they generally assume everyone is American. Wonder if it is true that old people cannot learn language?

I guess it's not comparing apples to apples but if you've ever known anybody that participated in a student exchange program in Mexico, it's safe to say that they aren't exactly more welcoming. Is two people considered a small sample size?

I think we got poop in some kind of container once growing up. My mom works at the school and is not all that popular. My sister was also just in HS if I remember correctly and was bullied a lot. Not saying it was tied to her but we never had that or get TPd like we did with her when I was in HS.
We did get ding dong ditched in the middle of the night one summer I was home. They did it once and we kind of wrote it off. After the second time 10 minutes later I decided to stay up. They came back a third time and I called the cops. Surprisingly a pretty good response time from multiple units. They were sneaky enough and well coordinated with their get away vehicle that they were not caught...don't ask me how as the cops drove past them several times. Looking back I wish I would have gone outside and ****** with them as I was able to figure out where they were hiding but at the time and not knowing who it was I wimped out.
