I think it depends on the landlord. I just keep remembering those students in the house that all had to get rabies shots because there were dozens of bats in their house.

Had cockroaches for pets at 804 Campus. Cannot believe that firetrap is still standing.

A friend just did this for their daughter on her 15th birthday. Was a Toyota, not a Mercedes. Told my own to not expect anything remotely similar on her 15th birthday.

Since we are van hunting I was planning on doing this except she will already know and it will just be a regular sized bow but dammit I can then say I had done that gimmicky thing.

For anyone interested, Kansas City is getting a new $1 billion single terminal airport. They are going to get direct international flights (finally).

Selfishly, I'm gonna miss how easy it was to get in and out of MCI, but I know it's better for everyone else that doesn't live locally. Projected completion date isn't until 2021.

“You could easily roll over in the middle of the night and have a bat bite you, and you’d never know,” Edwards said.

Easily? Seriously? I'm not an expert, but I'm doubting this statement a lot.
Don't. I have good friends that live in a 3 story Victorian. Some years back after finding a bat in their house one morning, they examined themselves and their kids and found a bite on one person. That particular bat was not rabid, but they all had to do the shots anyway because they didn't know if the bat they caught was the one that bit...and they couldn't be sure no one else was bit.

You really CAN sleep right through a bat bite.

I thought it was KCI?

I knew a guy that caught a bat in his house in a towel. He went to the window and was trying to get it out and it bit him as he threw it out the window. He said he immediately said "oh no" to himself because he knew he was going to have to go through the whole series of rabies shots.

Well that's fantastic. That should cure my insomnia right up.
