I keep clinging to my iPhone 5. Hate those big phones that don't fit in my pocket of my jeans.

I would still have a flip phone if husband had let me keep it.

Whenever we get everyone's college paid for, I want to go to New Zealand if I'm not already in the old folks home.

My parents went as a retirement gift--3 weeks in New Zealand, 3 in Australia. They left New Zealand shortly after there was an earthquake, then while they were in Australia was when the Japan tsunami hit. Thankfully they weren't affected by either. Right now they are on a cruise--Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Malta, back to Italy.

That sounds fabulous. Have thought of Australia too. Kind of interested in following my Dad's path in WWII, Fort Lewis near Tacoma, Camp Roberts in central California, Scoffield Barracks on Oahu, and New Britain, New Guinea, Guadalcanal, and Luzon in The Philippines.

Your avatar coupled with this post makes me suspicious.
Careful what you say. This could be you the next time you try to cross the bridge between Kansas and Missouri.

Pondering what kind of wine would pair well with 72 year old German cigarettes. Probably a chilled rose. Or go German with a Reisling or Gewürztraminer?

Okay, bored today and wasting time. Off to run errands and winterize that convertible.

My sister and her husband were in Vienna on a Danube river cruise last week. Saturday they were in Prague. I wonder if they made it back home yet.

Based upon hanging out at German bars in Minneapolis, the correct tobacco choice is snuff and the drink is beer from a boot that spills all over the front of your shirt.

Plus it's all computer. It's not like this is 1960 and some bank clerk has to add and subtract amounts in some ledger book. HAL is not charging the bank per transaction.

Banks suck. Credit unions suck slightly less but are not inherently evil and out to **** you at every step like banks.
My biggest problem with it is they obviously keep track of this, so I don't get why they don't stop you from being able to do after you reach the limit, instead of sending a damn letter telling me this. Stupid system, also curious to see what will happen when I do it again.

I'm surprised they didn't charge some freaking $10 fee for moving your own money around too often.

You've got to go German with that. I'd say a Riesling, at least Spätlese, or sweeter.

Welcome to adulthood. Last month we got a letter in the mail from our insurance saying they approve of and will cover an MRI for my wife...four hours after the MRI happened.

Not feeling the love. Boxster battery is totes dead. Looked at date and it's a 2006 ! When you don't drive something in the winter and keep it charged they last a LONG time. Been trying to charge it and it's no go. Going to have to grab a new battery tomorrow. Sears has my size, these have a vent tube cause they are inside the "frunk" . Of course I am a little worried about the radio code. I don't have the original card and all that happy **** so will have to trust the number someone wrote inside the frunk. Man, I just wanted to run it the petrol store and fill it up, treat das petrol and hibernate it for the winter.
