He is just so condescending. It's like Tuco, but worse.

I have a lot of experience with Longhorns (and Aggies). He's par for the course. You get the "Texas is the best state in the nation bar none" coupled with the self-perceived superiority of lib arts schools vs ag schools and you get pompous bozos like him. My first response to him was more of a joke than anything else, but it was probably his casual racism that convinced me to NOT give him the benefit of the doubt.

I don't like those guys either.

I think the only rival guy that doesn't grate me is the Baylor guy that posts in the WBB threads. He's a real fan of all WBB and knows way more then some of our self appointed "experts" who really only know the ISU roster.

He's a nice guy in person also, we talked when he came up to the ISU-BU game. I think Acoustimac helped him out with tickets for that game.

OK, I can see where this might be interesting from a far-away viewpoint......but what exactly are you going to talk to her about? (I'm just nosy)

Found out the story on the hot bartender. She did wreck the guy's truck and was arrested for DUI 2 and failure to appear from before. Lawyer had her plead guilty and made a deal with the DA to get her 1 year so she'll be out in April on good behavior. Here's the weird part, this guy I know is "standing by her" putting money into her commissary fund while her husband is doing the same thing. We're wondering how many other guys she's calling and getting money from. A friend of mine says he talked to this guy for about an hour yesterday and told him he needs to just move on because she is nothing but trouble. That's the advice he has been getting from everybody but so far he isn't listening. I assume if the insurance company finds out she was living with him and driving while revoked I doubt they will pay.

I was thinking that we then had to go check a lock at scheman because Joe caught his watch on it. You had said that it was him and not the lock when we got there, but we need to check or else we may not have a job.

I just remember walking to the door even though I was tired and wanted to go home. It was a typical lock and he just caught his watch. I don't remember which door though.

Here's a story for the CWW or Vicky Mendoza diagonal.

I tried to make it short

Hot bartender - married but no one knew it

Starts fooling around with a guy I know

We find out she's married when husband comes to the bar looking for her when she is out with guy I know.

Claims she is getting a divorce and that her husband hits her

Husband knows nothing about a divorce

Husband says she has an outstanding warrant for failure to appear at sentencing for DUI. I assume she can't file for divorce due to the warrant.

Moves in with guy I know

Wrecks guy I know's truck (so I hear)

Police involved now and they see the warrant

Now I have not yet found evidence of the wrecked truck but I do know she is no longer on the Douglas County list of outstanding warrants (she was a couple of weeks ago)

I know what bar she is working at and that Friday is her normal night. Might have to swing by later and see if she is still there.

Sounds a lot like the movie "The Heartbreak Kid" with Ben Stiller.

Day one of FXB complete. I didn't sleep well for whatever reason but got there and felt good. Workout went well (push-ups while wearing boxing gloves can go to hell). Worst part thus far is being tired and not being able to drink coffee. I am not a coffee guy usually but definitely drink it to get a boost in the morning when needed.

(non)Zombie cat strikes again; I saw little beady dead eyes staring up at me as I was heading to the door this morning. I guess I either interrupted Button's meal, or her tastes are becoming more refined, because this time there was a stomach with a string of intestines a few feet away.

Thanks but 2:30a doesn't work real great. It looks like it's showing several times today on Fox Sports Go. I know FS1 some times has these things show up on demand a few days later so I'm hoping for that to happen.
