Random Thoughts X (The 9th Regeneration)

Shot a woman in her pajamas who went out to talk to them after her family had called 911 about a possible assault in an alley. Not in a bad neighborhood (within blocks of where we biked around Lake Harriet) at all and this time they gunned down an unarmed white Australian whose only mistake after her household called 911 was to approach Mpls police and talk with them. Never approach these crazy *******, never, just don't. Maybe it will turn out she was crazy as a loon but she was unarmed and the cop shot her through his car door while he was still in his car.

EDIT: They ain't talking much and of course the cops have lawyered up and haven't even been interviewed by investigators. What is being reported is the dead woman was the one who called 911 and was talking to the drivers side cop when the passenger cop apparently reached past his partner and shot her multiple times through the car door/window. You can't even make up stuff this crazy.

He'll get off, a lady cop in D.M. a couple of yrs ago shot a person thru the CLOSED window of her squad car and got off. I appreciate that we have police but some of them make really dumb decisions.

So I forgot to mention that my interview from last week went fairly well...lasted a whole hour and 15 minutes, and the discussion didn't feel forced. (Although, I think I rambled on one of the early questions. Case of the nerves)
But...lucky me...I now have a peer interview scheduled for Friday. Like one interview isn't nerve wracking enough. But, I totally understand. It's a smaller team within a team, so if I don't fit or mesh with them, then they need to start all over again. And, of course, it'll be one of the hottest days of the year on the day I interview. Hopefully my face doesn't melt off before I get there.

Good Luck!

Some days your the wind shield, some days your the bug. I was the bug tonight. Went to Mason City for their 30 mile fast ride. I did ok at it last week but got my butt kicked tonight. Sometime on my ride Sun. my seat slid down so I wasn't getting good extension and made my thighs hurt, fixed that then when trying to catch up to the group missed a corner and went onto some gravel so a sliding I went. Just a few scratches and smashed my trip odometer/speedometer thing(luckily it was a cheap one, never really liked it but I wasn't expecting to replace it anytime soon.) Other than those 2 mishaps it was a good ride.

Made mad Boxster dash in the Boxster to pick up friend at Target Field and maybe drove a little fast on Hwy 55 on the way back till the skies opened and you couldn't see well enough for speeding. I think friend was showing a little little anxiety about the drive. No hail, yay!

Did yon remind her to tuck and roll as you shoved her out the door doing 60?

Do you at least wave as you go 2 blocks from my house back and forth from Mason?

ER visit was as dull as it should have been. Extra Benadryl for a couple days, and we'll need to find a way to work with the person to figure out what they changed to bring that allergen into their home.

Problem #1: That person says they didn't do anything different (which is always how this begins), and says that humidity was the problem. That won't be going well.

Problem #2: That's my mother. There's trouble brewing here in River City.

I don't understand 90% of what they are talking about in that Smart Home Tech thread.

I meant have a camera where you could watch your attractive neighbor do whatever you wanted to watch them do. I will try to explain better next time.

The rest you don't understand because you are old. I don't even try much anymore to understand.

Read it again. Seem s like a lot of work to avoid turning a light switch on and off. If I move, will make sure the previous owners are 60+ so I don't have to worry about them unlocking my house or screwing with stuff.
