Added the 4 hill route into the mix tonight, it's only 20 miles but the hills are pretty long/steep. Did not die and got done right at 2 hrs.

Boxster how was trivia? Did you have a good turnout and is it general trivia or ISU trivia?

Bored. Saw in paper that new British show, Hooten and The Lady is premiering in USA tonight. Thinking, oh, British, might be quirky fun stuff, couldn't be worse then regular USA network fare. How bad could it be?

JFC, 20 minute in and it is almost unwatchably bad. The choppy video editing would have smoother view transitions if a 7th grader edited it on an iPhone.
There were some funny one-liners. PapaLew about had a cow about the chopper on auto-pilot...

looked at tomatoes tonight, I take back what I said. I think we'll have some by party time, at least the cherry ones. There are already some little green ones, another two weeks they'll be good.

Evidently, fighter jets were flying circles over our neighborhood yesterday. Rumor has it that it was for the X-Games but I'm not so sure.

Dog and I watching Amish put a new roof on across the street. These guys are never out of shape, eat a lot of dessert, do not have fitbits or gym memberships, are never seen jogging. When they put on our roof, thought one of the teens was interesting because he was drinking energy drinks and Mt. Dew. They came over to say hi and I gave them some bell peppers of which I have plenty.

I received the best explanation of cost break down for dance class yesterday. She started with the normal fee, the 50% discount and then broke it down into monthly payments. Then she broke up the information with class time options. Afterwards, she told me how much the June recital was, costume, and approx. prop cost.

Then she said, that maybe we'd like Z to try a 3 week summer session first.

It's been hard to get good feedback/good website information except for this one dance group.....It also makes me realize why they charge what they do.

Edit: when broken down is a pretty reasonable amount per month.

Awwwwww...Z's going to take dance classes? <3

Got my flush letter yesterday for a neat job I expected never to hear anything back from. The closing date was less than a week from the posting, so I assumed they already had someone set up, but sent it in anyway.

I preferred hearing nothing. Their letter needs a little help.

Sometimes I feel guilty that I never signed my girls up for dance. I did it when I was young, but was not a good dancer. ;) The oldest had zero interest and even turned it down when a preschool friend offered to do the half-price "bring a friend". We did sign her up for stuff as she was interested--gymnastics (did for a year), tae kwan do, etc. The next one did gymnastics for 4-5years but inherited my extreme inflexibility. The other two have not asked about dance, so I don't bring it up. ;)

Which group are you looking at?

They start you on a manageable amount, then next you know: extra recitals and costumes, dance comps with more paid practices costumes and travel, then invites to regional comps and practices which include hotels and plane tickets' then your dance instructor ends up in jail for tax fraud and then you start all over. We stopped before regional stuff.
