Thought I was going to get a bike ride in tonight, as I pulled into drive way lightning strikes not to far away to west, yep no bike ride being rained on now.

Putting in doors is tedious but good projects done. 1 more to do tomorrow.

Did sneak in a 16 this morning, plan on doing the same tomorrow.

Lightening to the west means you just ride east. Why is this so difficult to some people. Just go the other direction.

I was gonna go for a bike ride, but decided to drink instead.

Me to but I did meet with some of the ISU alumni gang to plan some alumni bike ride outings. Popped over the Utepils to discuss and down a few Kölsch style beers. Looking at maybe starting it off with a ride from Hopkins out to the Excelsior for beers one Saturday afternoon in July. Discussion renewed my interest in trying to ride a couple days of RAGBRAI. Still no good logistical options of the old man riding solo. I'll probably get over it in a day or so and get back to the realization that it's no country for old men.

I went to Global Market on Lake today for lunch. After I ate I went to the hipster bar in there and got a Kirby Pucker Sour Blonde. It was ******* delicious.

The one article I read said the boyfriend had told her (not showed her?) a different book stopped the bullet so it was okay to go through with it.

*disclaimer--softball ahead*

@harimad and @BCClone Do your girls wear Ringors with pitching toes? Daughter needed new cleats so we broke down and got Ringors. Had read a couple places that individuals recommended pitching toes for catchers, but we just bought the regular ones. Not even a month of use and the toes are trashed. They claim to have the longest lasting cleats out there. Sent them a pic of the damage, compared to her Nikes that cost 1/3 of the price and lasted 3x as long which held up much better. They are sending us new cleats with the pitching toes at no cost. If this all works out, we will be buying Ringors again when she needs new ones. Now they do have a disclaimer that they will not replace shoes due to pitching wear. They say nothing about catching wear.

Daughter has the Ringor pitching toe turf shoes (not spikes) and loves them. They are her most comfortable shoes.
I'll caution against Ringor spikes. It isn't firsthand experience, but we've been told stories that the spikes can poke up through the soles, which has resulted in some broken toes. I haven't verified this, and am properly skeptical. Nevertheless, DD will not wear the spikes. Shrug, fine with me, there's plenty of other brands.

I can't seem to find places where I can buy like a case or something. It's all on tap at hipster bars. But I'm a big fan.

they had them in the UK as well. Think he's only had it on tap as well but we haven't been home much lately that he'd be buying beer. May have to get some before the party. Lots of fancy beer fans in that group.
