This one's for @BoxsterCy :

Did the days before and after the Relay smartly without pop.
Let myself have some at lunch on Friday and Saturday. My body acted completely dehydrated and just shut me down (into constant naps, nothing more serious).

Drank 12 or so ounces of water and everything came back to life. No pop since and everything is smooth.

So, pop is now bad. I have to jump on that train.

I read this just after thinking, ' Why didn't I grab pop on the way back? :(

Unless he pulled your dog out of the pool and was trying to resuscitate him, the answer is yes.

Sad thing is, probably most action Schwan guy has had in a while. Our cute older guy got promoted and this young guy looks like they pulled him out of his mom's basement and away from his Steam account to deliver frozen food.

Was there tongue involved?

My dog, always; Schwan guy, sort of looked like it.

Swann guy rounding second base... Carvers with the throw...

Got there just as he was pulling out an ice cream cup doggy treat. Dog is a cheap date.

Was it consensual? Have you had "the talk" with your dog?

I think my dog consents to everything except baths and claw clipping. We have talked about him humping anything in sight many times, despite him having been fixed. Sigh. As CG would say, he's a *****.

Day 4 back at the gym completed. Apparently this is the year my body tells me it takes longer to recover. So, I will try and hold off the pop cravings until after I've drank 2 more bottles of water.

#dontwanttobeassimuatled! #popisthed....

Rev, I'm about to make your day.

PapaLew is absolutely addicted to Pepsi; despite our urologist's best efforts, he drinks it daily. At least he has reduced it from a 2-liter per day down to one or two 16oz bottles per day. I'm always on his case to drink more water, with limited success.

The anti-fungal PapaLew will be taking for the next year needs stomach acid for it to be assimilated properly, but he takes an acid-blocker for GERD. So the doc asked if he liked Coke, and PapaLew said "I like Pepsi better". The doc then told him to take the anti-fungal at least 3 hours before the other pill, and to wash it down with a glass of Pepsi.

PapaLew was ecstatic...he finally has a doctor on his side that says Pepsi is "good for him". Never felt so much like smacking a doctor...! :D

It's really good after long runs, too, if any sort of GI issues come up.
But without that, it's not agreeing with me anytime soon. Certainly not with the summer temps.

In all fairness, I used to drink as much Coke as he did Pepsi. Then my son got deployed to Iraq in 2005 and I fretted myself into an ulcer, and my doc made me quit cold turkey. (Oy....the headaches I had...!) At this point though, I just don't miss it. I have an occasional Sunkist orange if I want something fizzy, but ice water is my go to beverage all year round now.

Then again, I'm not working my body anywhere near what you do to yours! :D

When I was younger I drank a lot of Mt. Dew. Then one day I decided enough is enough and quit. I substituted a couple of coffees in the morning. I'll still get a Coke or Pepsi on occasion. Probably 2 - 3 a month.

I didn't realize it was a video at first, so I was looking at the soapy first image trying to figure out what the hell it was. Then I clicked it to enlarge the pic, and it started playing.

Oh my!
I just wonder what is going through someones head when they decide that's a good idea. It makes me wonder what else they have tattooed on them.

I've tried quitting pop several times to no avail. There are many days I won't have one, but lunch at work is my Achilles heel. Movie theaters too.

I've never been able to drink pop in the morning, though. It just hurts my teeth thinking about it. I need milk or water or juice. And I have never drank coffee at all.

There was a bit where I was having one cup 12-32oz a day. So, I'm trying to be good and drink even less. While Erik was running across Iowa I did by the baby sized bottles and tried to stick to one a day... or two.
