I've got a Kirby Puckett rookie card and some of the original transformers. Basically everything else I've acquired after the age of 11 is fodder for Good Will.

Ran into an isu family waiting in line to see the crown jewels. Chatted for a bit.

And no, I don't mean dh's balls. I don't have to wait in line for that show.

In typical cg fashion, we have been doing too much. Both getting pretty tired and feet are want8ng a break. Dh is snoozing next to me and he needs to shower yet. Windsor castle tomorrow and then probably quieter Thursday for my birthday. Probably museums and window browsing famous spots I 've read about. Then the whirlwind through Paris. Feels like it's been a long and short trip at the same time

Oh that's family jewels not crown jewels, sorry. I thought that wasn't quite right. Must be the wine. Had to ask dh if I were drunk cause I walked into the ladies room and a man walked out. Did a double take at the door and it said ladies so I think I was good.

Speaking of euphemisms , just channel flipped into the the Clark Gable movie Mogambo. Whar euphemism? Older friend of was always saying "the mogambo" and I never figured out where it came from until I stumbled onto the movie. It's a great word, mogambo.

My HS mascot was the Knights, and one time several years ago I pronounced it "Co-Nig-git" in front of my husband when referring to said HS mascot. My husband just stared at me like I was crazy.

"Get it? K-nig-git."
He blinked and said "I just did get it."

I may have happy-danced and lorded that over him for a bit since I realized it the very first time I saw the movie.

I feel dumb for just learning this.

In Monty Python's Holy Grail, when the French soldier taunts King Arthur by saying "you and all your silly English connigits" that he was actually saying k-nig-hts. I thought "connigits" was some English insult this whole time.
You've never used a steak cunniffee at the dinner table?

In the last week and a half I have barely been able to keep up with RTT. I see the uniform thread really picked up some steam.
