Random Thoughts X (The 9th Regeneration)

Sometimes I read posts in here are they are so similar to what my hubby would say that I often question if he is masquerading as someone else (in reality he just ghosts on my account).

I leave reminder notes for myself around the house. He "fixed" this one for me this morning. The teenager said she was going to remove a few more letters.

I love this (these) thread. Nobody gets bent out of shape over stupid jokes, pics or gifs and everyone knows I like to post all of them. And just when I think the ladies are getting sick of our junior high boys' humor one of them calls us out for missing a TWSS opportunity.

Please never change RTT.

Speaking of TWSS, a friend posted this on Facebook this morning. I didn't but it was the first thing that came to mind.

"Fact of the Day: Astronaut Scott Kelly grew 2 inches after being in space for a year."

Yeah, there's times when these guys will say something and I'll think "are you PapaLew" or "are you my son"? It's kind of eerie. But it also explains why I enjoy the company in here, most of the time. :D

Saw neighbors allegedly vicious bulldog walking down the street. Lured him back to their enclosed porch with pieces of a hot dog, he didn't seem enthused about our dog treats. Not sure why he was out, they don't leave him out when they aren't home. They usually come home for lunch so I guess maybe they forgot he was out there and he hopped the fence. Guess I'll call one of them at work and see if they want to come let him in the rest of the house somewhere.

99% of posts are me. I think he has randomly posted in other threads maybe once or twice. But never here.
PapaLew has his own account, but it's been dormant for ages. Some of the notifications (like when you use the @ImJustKCClone ) I get via email will ping on his tablet, and he reads some of the conversations, but I don't think he has ever posted under my name.

So, I just tested the theory. You there, PapaLew??

A bulldog can hop a fence? The bulldogs in my neighborhood are lucky to jump the cracks in the sidewalks. They make corgis look like kangaroos.

He's a tall American bulldog. Called the neighbor at work and she said they completely forgot him out back when they came home for lunch. She wondered if he growled or bit me. That dog would have sold his soul for another hot dog.

That makes sense. The ones near me are all English bulldogs. They are much more likely to run through or eat a fence than jump it.

I debated bringing my daughter to work today, but my office isn't exactly PC or swear-free. I decided to have her watch Harlem Nights instead

Do many places really do that anymore? I haven't been anywhere that does and I never hear about it until the day of from people elsewhere.

There were a couple on FB. One was in Ohio and one was in KC. I technically take my kids to work everyday. And I had an extra one at home sick. Does that count?

I didn't realize it was a thing still either. Her school sent out an E-mail earlier this week asking to be notified if our child wouldn't be attending school on Thursday.

I guess I could teach her the fine art of posting on CF while you're supposed to be working.
