First bike ride of the year. Figured 15 miles was enough after a six month layoff. #oldcorgi  Didn't even get rained on much.

Saw a family biking by Lake Calhoun. What caught my eye was the one kid looked to be about two or so. Not on one of those strider bikes either, he was pumping away on this tiny little tot bike. I was pretty impressed.

why do you have to paint the kitchen of a house you just built :(

because everything was white. We didn't pay to paint a color during building because we didn't know what we'd want. Also because a non-generic wall color cost $$$$. So we decided we'd paint as we lived in the house and could see what colors would look like. And then we'd get to put some of our own work in. We'd have had to pick the paint color when the house was still studs. Hard to tell what that's going to look like. So every single wall was white when we moved in.

also, the 22 month mark is a good time to move out your oven and have a reason to clean under it. We should probably make that a once a year thing. Def don't do 5 like in our apartment.

so Dh mentioned that a neighbor left their little fire pit out and it was still you know, full of fire in their driveway when he looked out to see how windy the incoming storm was. So I go to watch. It was probably like, 40-45mph and they had this fire pit throwing out clouds of embers up into the air. Now, I'm not a Boy Scout or anything, but isn't it common sense to put out your fires before you go back inside? I watched til the eventual rain put it out but I'm sure glad we live upwind of them.

What is the internet outrage du jour?
I guess that is what I was asking. Everybody is outraged according to tele-journalist-tele-prompter-readers. It's like a 1980's Dr. pepper commercial.....everyone is outraged all the time. I still can't get an answer to the other question either of what is the biggest problem in America2017, the land of everything. Is it hunger or obesity? I guess it depends on what NGO staffer sinecure or poverty industry salary-collector you talk to.
Another semi-random thought as I digest-and-reject the morning news I am presented.....trial of the century in Hawkeye Sports land starts tomorrow....what a stinking smelly crap sandwich that is going to be. No heros. Just crap.

Facebook has been retrieved. I guess a few other friends had it happened to them to. All of us had old hotmail emails from when FB started and never changed it and they had hacked it that way. So if you're using a hotmail address, might want to change it.

Ooh, forgot, mega dork sighting yesterday while taking a bike ride break at Lake Calhoun. Saw this gal filming this dude, not unusual, people be videoing all the time but was close enough to hear what was going on. It was "Why I want to be on Survivor". Yup, audition tape I guess. His hook was that he wants to win it and then be on the 40th season show. Based on what I heard I don't think you are going to see him on TV anytime soon. And, no, I have never really watched that show, just know about it cause who doesn't know about it.

Damn it, should have videoed the videoing! o_O

LittleWx has not been sleeping great and decided to lose his mind after lunch at my parents today. Oh my highlight from golfing yesterday was my FIL saying on nearly every hole "Looks like were X yards out. I suggest using Y club." I just laughed it off but debated saying "Not sure if you are paying attention but it doesn't really matter what I hit. There is no way of knowing how far or which direction it is going."

So it's been about 54 hours since I've had my wisdom teeth surgery. My mouth is in much better shape than it was, but there is still swelling. The pain killers have more than helped, I haven't had much pain where they removed the teeth.

I have noticed that the numbness in the front/bottom part of my tongue has not went away at all. I looked it up and it seems to be caused by nerve damage in tooth extraction surgery, especially when it's not a simple extraction. It looks like most people get better with time (a few weeks to a few months). But it's very annoying and I hope it goes away soon!

I can't catch a break. I have a foot issue that gets better then I have a knee issue. Finally the knee is getting better, then today around noon I'm just sitting in my chair and my back spasms. If i'm not literally flat on my back or stomach I can move and at times its hard to catch my breath. I need to be put down at this point.
