Just be sure you do it in a healthy way!

Thanks! @carvers4math I love food. Too much, in fact. It's what started me on intermittent fasting in the first place. I found it easier to stay in a good calorie range by not reducing how much I am supposed to eat; but just reducing the amount of hours in the day I allow myself to eat.

@ImJustKCClone I will, for sure! I have a blood pressure monitor at home that I'll track my BP, and I plan on doing some bloodwork if I manage to make to a week. I don't expect tho make it beyond three days though. ;)

Good point. Now CF is bombarding me with Sperry ads

Yeah, it's odd how a mention of anything can set off ads. My wife orders nearly everything online, so I get a lot of women's clothing ads, although I'm positive she didnt order anything odd from Sears, that was a strange one.

Years & years ago, the Sears mail order catalog was the resource for boys on Texas ranches - specifically the women's lingerie sections. Now your oblique references to the Sears ad are making me wonder if Sears has branched out into sex toys or supplies for S&M dungeons. :D

I do get a lot of Vicky's and the sort ads, wife gets a lot there. I was looking up some fencing equipment and livestock supplies. May have done a combination thing. You may have solved this, my wife's orders with my job is thinking we are some kinky old farts.

In the old days Sears had a catalog for just about everything but I don't ever remember seeing a catalog for those. ;)

I don't know much about fasting, I just know I get raging headaches/migraines if I go for a long time without eating. Good luck, sounds like it would require lots of discipline.

Got an alert this morning that one of our 4 schools has no electricity so no school for just one kid. The 8th grader was not happy that the 5th grader gets to stay home today.

Just got a text from hubby who is flying back home today from Philly. Connecting flight from Chicago to DSM later today has already been cancelled. He hates flying through Chicago, but is always the cheapest option.

I'm just taking on a challenge. I was reading a post in /r/fasting that a guy posted five months ago. He fasted for 77 days straight. I don't think I can beat that. But I want to see how strong my discipline can be, and for how long. So I'm going to give this a try and see how far I can take it.
What you've done for fasting already is pretty impressive.

Some reason the wife bought some all natural peanut butter. We are out of the regular kind.

If Washington Carvers invention is what I just tasted, how did it ever catch on? It is nasty.

... and that layer of oil that's always on top of it that has to be stirred into it and it takes up space in the refrigerator. Yep. It's gross. We have started using the Skippy Natural. I'm pretty sure the only difference between that and the regular Skippy is the word natural on the label.
