Cy's House of Trivia was fun. Celebrities we had were okay, Mitchell Myers is a really cool kid. Got 5th place this year.
We didn't go this year. We've been replacements on a team for the past two years, but they replaced the replacements this year. :(

Maybe next year. We had a lot of fun the two years we went, and I'm glad we at least got to experience it. :)

Cy's house of trivia was a lot of fun, no shiny finish for our team. I was surprised how hard a lot of the questions were. Glad I got to go and hope they think of me if they are short again.

Almost done with our taxes, but need just one piece of info from the wife and she is already sleeping. FML I want to be done with this already!

He was good on Parks & Rec. Saw him on Colbert the other night, funny there. Seemed to have a hard time not laughing on SNL.
Never watched P&R, don't know much about him, but pretty much nothing in his monologue made me laugh. Maybe it's just because I wasn't feeling really sharp last night...

One of the changes this year was no one under 21 allowed which is understandable due to all the freee alcohol. My nephew has come with us in the past, he was supposed to go again this year until we saw the rule changes. There were at least 2 more questions we would have gotten right with his input. :)

Is Louis C K supposed to be funny?

Some of his stuff makes me laugh insanely hard. Some of it gets a little too whiny for me. Lewis Black and late-years Carlin kinda fall into the same category. All of them have some really funny material, but they can all sound like bitter old men from time to time.

what a beautiful day! Four miles in and I pretty much want to die. Need to make DH help me measure out flags for plants, so we can have that done. Maybe put mulch in some spots.

I wonder if I can plant phlox and sedum now.....could run to the garden place and get those. We really need to get patio furniture so I could sit outside and cross stitch.

Yesterday we (me) tore out shrubs from the front of our house and turned it into a planter with a couple of flowers and mulch. Looks sooo much better now. I was going to buy a power rake but it turns out it was online only. May just wait until next year to do that now. Two more big projects left for this year. Still debating if we are going to put up a playset with limited flat space as we would have to put two of the legs into the hill some. MrsWx would want to dig into the hill and put a mini terrace in but I don't think that would help resell value so I am putting the kibosh on that. Not to mention I would be doing all the work. The summer long project will be taking out the river rock from around the deck and putting down mulch. No real rush on that but will take at least a weekend of doing a lot of digging and lifting.

We generally keep the cats out of the basement. Button (the stray that joined us last year with her kids) has been pretty desperate to get down there. We probably have mice down there, but we have a bunch of stuff on the walls that a cat can destroy pretty easily. She figured out the laundry chute in the upstairs bath, so we had to put a child proof door on that. Then she got the plate off the floor heater vent and tried to squeeze in, but couldn't fit around the bend. This morning we realized that we hadn't seen her all evening OR this morning. Found her downstairs, so then we had to figure out how she got down there.

PapaLew had taken the plate off the return air vent in our bedroom so that he could put the dresser flush against the wall. We aren't using the air or heat right now so he covered it with heavy cardboard until he could get a new plate that doesn't stick out so much. The dresser covered most of the cardboard, but not enough. She dug her way through it, went through a couple of sections of ducting and found her way out into the basement (where the furnace is). Damn cat is too smart!
