Got up and rode first thing this morning. I got 11 miles in and wanted to ride more but MrsWx wanted to go down to the Farmers Market so I cut it shorter. My dad and I are taking LittleWx fishing tomorrow so that should be an experience...
Found out yesterday that our one varsity pitcher (3rd year playing, started in 8th grade) is done pitching. She doesn't like it and she is injured/hurts when she pitches. Which leaves us with 2 8th graders (one has our 3 varsity wins, the other has only pitched JV) and a freshman who is a JV level pitcher.
We were watching this morning's game with a family we played club with for 3yrs. Their daughter who pitches just had hip surgery and is out for a year, but their older daughter was playing against our daughter. Ours had a throw out at 2nd and the dad was like, "I'm going to tell (the girl) a junior just got thrown out by an 8th grader"
Got a quick rain shortened 17 miles in. Uneventful, no attempts on my life, did not crash, did not die from a heart attack or stroke.
I do seem to have developed a new biking super power to conjure up isolated storm or shower cell. Although just a little rain this time, no lightening like earlier this week. I used to only be able to bring wind.
Saw it too...it was like a VHI biopic but with nudity, violence and the F-word. I actually laughed at the slow motion usage of the scene with the prison fight, and the gf and I were the only ones in the theater so we just made comments about the production.
One thing's for sure: Suge Knight's image never gets any help with movies like this and Straight outta Compton.
Or the slow motion to him in the studio doing Brenda's Got a Baby." That slow mo was WAY too long.
I don't understand how people can have so many meetings to "plan" stuff and then nothing is ever planned.

Saw A Dogs Purpose last night it was a nice movie. Not great but I liked it.
My favorite are the meetings where half the time is spent talking about what to call the next meeting.
The GF and I have been joking about wondering if the movie has ended yet because so many scenes were played out for too long.
Yeah, the person I was with kept leaning over and asking "is this where he gets shot?"
I had to be the bearer of bad news and keep telling her "no, he's still got like, two albums left to come out."
Dad and I each caught a bass. LittleWx decided it would be a better idea to throw his whole rod in the lake...twice. The second time I stepped in to get it and fell in.
