Erik was going to run a mile and Z wanted to go with. She ran 3\4 of the mile..

I'm pretty proud that I could jog beside her for it too

Was biking earlier this week over by Lake Harriet and come up behind this really little girl pedaling on the path on her really little bike. Didn't see any biking parental units and she was way too young to be out on her own.. Then I noticed who I assume was her dad running along side the path. So, little girl was pacing along with running dad on her tiny little bike. It was pretty cool and very cute.

Another long day started about 8 and finished at 9. Oh well tomorrow is a play day, not sure what I'm going to do maybe air up tires and go on bike ride.

CG glad you and DH are home and had a good trip. Glad you didn't have any troubles until your homeward trip.

Well my busy weekend continued today. My family that i'll be seeing next week in Chicago was in Iowa this weekend to celebrate my sister's birthday and my dad's recent retirement. They are camping out at Hickory Grove a small lake between Colo and Nevada.

Went over in the early afternoon to see my nieces playing at the beach then back again this evening for food on the grill and s'mores by campfire for dessert.

Glad I took a third day off Sunday to recoup from my Friday and Saturday activities.

Went to a local cafe for breakfast. Young lady working has round wire rimmed glasses and her hair dyed in some light blue silver so she looks like an old lady when she is most likely 21

This popped up on my feed today, and reminded me of the Tailgate Tour convo we had a while back. This is our youngest as Cy, his wife & 2 of his four daughters; my one & only grandson and his 9 day old sister, and me.
This was December 2007, and he went on the tailgate tour previous summer, so he was out and about in the state in June/July of 2007.

And no. I wasn't squashing her...I was holding her head up because she was tilted a bit forward and her brother was working on escaping.

Trying to rascal proof the house for 9 pm arrival of grandruffians. They are the worst. Since their dad isn't here I'll have to get up when they do to keep them out of stuff. They are old enough I should not have to stand guard but they are little anarchists. They don't seemingly carry any of my "good little boy" genes. Maybe they were all used up after my nieces generation (they were the best).

Good Luck!

Why is there a snowball in there?

It's actually a cool piece of very fine textured white coral that needs protection from the marauding hooligans. Being a Hawaii guy you can appreciate that!

BTW, that helmet was NOT my dad's, he was in the US Army. He did bring in back though.

For @wxman1

Canadians, what can I say.
