Have fun, Sara. I hope you're better luck for the Cyclones down there than PapaLew & I have been; we've gone there twice, way back when with Seneca, again in 2013. Both were blowouts.
Just looked up the recipe for that (shamefully I've never had one). Wow does that have blackout written all over it.
I drink captain and coke like its going out of style. Kind of want to broaden my horizons. Plus every time I went to IC or CF it was hit or miss. One would be good and the next would taste like ***. Whiskey sours were always good.
Starting off with margs at El Azteca tonight after work.

rum and coke is my thing too. Margs are delish. Amaretto sour and pineapple or lemonade vodka is another commonish one.
Long islands are dangerous, but good. Probably just 1 is needed at Cafe B. I wouldn't order them at a Paddy's or Mickey's though.
Fun Fact: Not only is this KC drink of choice, but it also doubles as her choice of men.

I seem to have failed in acheiving my objective.
Had a dream last night that Dh made us both dr appointments and I was mad because I don't have to go for like three years or something. (I think this came from Dh telling me last night he had a dentist appt today)
So I'm there and this doc is like "are you sure you aren't pregnant?" And I'm like yeah, pretty sure. Well he's like I'd like you to take a pregnancy test anyway. So I do. Now mind you, I've never seen one IRL so my dream made this all up. After like a minute, it bounced around a percentage of pregnant/not pregnant. The final percentage was like 55% not pregnant, 45% pregnant.
That'd be kinda neat if that's how they worked.

I went to Estas for my 21st. They had the best deals on shots for your birthday if I remember correctly.
I drink scotch, but as a young 'un at the party scene, that probably won't be your thing.
I'm also big on gin and tonics and White Russians. But I don't disagree with WDSM on long islands. Especially at Cafe Beaudelaire (I'm assuming that's where he was referring to with "Cafe B".
And if you're trying but a drink for a girl that doesn't tell you what she wants, always go vodka cranberry. It's about a 99 percent success rate.

Also, I think a couple people at work may suspect this. I went to an after work thing Tuesday and just had water (and turned down a free beer). I did this because I'm not a big beer person and with the holidays approaching, I know I'll be getting plenty of extra calories.
Anyway, shortly after I made that comment about sticking to water, one of them said something about all the people at our company with babies. I thought dammit, they think I'm pregnant now, ha. They'll figure out I'm not eventually, I suppose.
It's because people in Iowa are bad and need to be punished. They need to wander in the snow and think about the bad lives they live down there.
Was pondering yesterday what the last 2 inches of rain would have totaled in snowfall.
