I was using a high threshold definition of abuse. Like when you looked at Amy Winehouse and thought "Man, she is going to be dead soon unless something changes" or a Sheen who had his drug fueled public crazy rants or a Lohan who aged 20 years in 5 years.

Don't blame you. It is tough being in Iowa for sports situations like that. Do you pick up the Bears, Packers, Vikings, Rams or Chiefs game? All are nearly equidistant and have close to the same number of fans.

I looked back and it looks like CR went with the Packers game on Fox and Bears @ Rams on CBS.

OK, I'm not trying to convey the thing you're railing against, but I'm also (now) wise enough to realize this medium is not precise enough to accurately convey my true feelings without a ton of possible mis-interpretation.

So, maybe if I just slice it this way...I stumbled across the Miley thing yesterday while bouncing around on MSN rewards...you get credits for search engine stuff, over time you can turn in for like Amazon credits and stuff...one of the things was clicking thru news stuff, and Miley was in there along with another story....

I cannot support her views, as I believe that this lifestyle is personally and socially destructive without regard to the gender of the person advocating it. You are correct, that in relation to my life...what goes on in her bedroom is irrelevant. However, as the father of 2 boys who will sooner or later be in the age where they're trying to figure out their stances on sexuality, the fact that she's celebrating this lifestyle is concerning to me, and I feel she's not only participating in a destructive lifestyle, she's advocating for it by speaking so openly about her beliefs.

Do I think she should be attacked, slut shamed, etc.? No, not really...but also don't expect me to be quiet as she's advocating a lifestyle that I feel has real social harm.
 
Oh HELL no. Our owner just forwarded me an E-mail. Our salesman just tried throwing me under the bus saying that I wasn't giving a customer an appropriate amount of attention, and then proceeded to say that I told him that I was too busy with other priorities, we could lose the account, blah blah blah.

**** just got real. If there is one thing I pride myself on it's customer relations and communication. And for that clown to put words in my mouth and try to dog me out to the owner. **** that ****. This is the same asshat that can't compose a literate E-mail and with proper pronunciation and capitalization.

Gloves are off. I'll be reasonable and not curse at him directly, but my filter's coming off.

Reading that statement from her, comes across as her being bi-sexual and open to different sexual experiences, where it is legal and consensual.

All I'm saying is that if someone is of legal age, not being coerced into a situation, then it does not affect my life at all.

I think she does help promote LGBT causes and suicide prevention, which is good. I think her drug use is kind of gross. Who she wants to date? Doesn't matter.

I posted after that, I'm pretty sure. Picture wasn't nearly that exciting so I skipped it. Also because I was watching my race until late (my drive won in the oddest way!) And now today I'm busy. Just popping in during lunch.
 
I just found out that my sibs and parents won't be coming to KC over New Years like they planned on. It might be next June before we all get together now.
Bummin.... :sad:
 
00, is it really her pansexuality that you disagree with or her partying lifestyle? Because it seems like that's what you're more upset about. Pansexual just means you don't take someone's gender or sexuality into account, but you can still be super traditional.
