Depends. Most of the time, don't stir. Now, if it was a casserole type thing, then yeah, but if it's just mixing flavors, that won't matter in the crock pot.
If you're just doing something like a meat/meat & vegetables with a sauce poured over it, no mixing required. If you're making some type of soup...yeah, mixing required. (I have a soup that asks for chicken broth and cream of chicken. I whisk that together before adding other stuff)
Had our friends' new daughter's baptism today...Mrs00 and I were godparents. The priest said that my one job was to light the baptism candle off the Paschal Candle. Cool. Literally, that was the extent of the directions. We head back, and people ask me if I had the candle. No...I don't...get dirty looks, so I head back to the front. Empty box. Head back and mrs00 is pointing and trying to mouth something I can't understand. Finally realize the deacon has it, so I light the thing and stand there with this candle. We do our things, and everyone heads back to the front. Kinda shrug and blow the thing out. Which seems weird, because we didn't do anything with it. Then we're directed to stand in front of the altar, and I'm still holding this candle, and now wondering if I should have kept it lit. Soon enough, deacon taps me on the shoulder and lights it off one of the candles on the altar.
This seemed very different from when our boys were baptized, I think this priest does it differently. He did some stuff before mass, some stuff in the back after the homily, then stuff at the front. The last guy did it in one shot, I think.

Not exactly, although football certainly hasn't done anything to enhance my weekend either. My apologizes for acting like an *** hat in the football thread, I got some bad news last night about friend.
Work but it was at a company conference for new college hires. And we hung out most of the time.
It's not even about today, it's more ISU blowing the OSU game.
Also like Cokane it goes beyond football. My dad has a surgery coming up on Tuesday.
