Had a weird day yesterday. Had a parent-teacher conference at 8:00am, went to work at 8:45, left at 10 for a doctor's appointment. Had to do some fasting blood work, nurse misses my vein the first time and it hurts like hell. Got it on the second try. Got poked a third time for a flu shot. Got referred for a CT Scan, so I walk over to the imaging center next door to make an appointment.
The girl up front asks me if I've had anything to eat, I said no, so she asks me if I wanted to get it done right away. I'm like "sure", saves me another half day from work. They gave me that nasty contrast solution to drink and ask me to be back in 45min. I go back to work for 30 minutes and my favorite client tries to call me out for something over email. I respond and let the guy know I'll look into the issue, but he flies off the handle, copies everyone on the email and goes nuts. I had no chance to reply because I have to be back for my CT Scan.
Get my Scan done (poked again for an IV on my other arm) and head back to work. Sent email reply and proved that a-hole wrong. If you don't want to look like and idiot in front of everyone, don't start copying every possible person. Once you do that, I have to respond to all as well. A-hole responds an hour later (no apology), just saying that the issue is considered resolved.
