I haven't turned mine on yet. I really want to know how far I can get without itI think we've had ours on since mid-Oct. I get cold too fast.

My office is like Dueling Banjos, but with coughing. If I make it through this without getting sick, I'll be amazed.
Yeah, I'm on the fifth floor so that really helps. Plus, I like my apartment cool.you live above people though, right? So heat seeps up to you? We didn't turn ours on last year until later because we had a semi-heated garage underneath us and neighbors with heat on.
I'm not trying to single anyone out, but I never get the big appeal about boasting about how long you waited to turn the heat/AC on. If I'm cold, I turn the heat on. When I'm hot, the AC goes on. That's why I have it. I want to be comfortable in my house. To me it's like bragging about how late at night I can wait to turn the lights on in my house.

I'd ask my dad to turn on the heat and he'd say "if you're cold put on a damn sweatshirt"
Go to the volleyball game too! Then you're the ultimate true fan.
Plus, it's a huge game for us.
I've always thought it was because you're likely saving money.
But I'm an adult now, so I turn the heat on when I get cold, and the AC when I get hot. Though the heat is set at 67 and I'd probably prefer it at 70. So I just wear my sweatshirt while cross stitching then.

Yeah, I got the same treatment growing up. Having my bedroom on the second story in the northwest corner of a poorly insulated farmhouse was brutal.
Mrs00 is always cold, and I've told her that I'd run the furnace at 90 if she'd run around in yoga shorts....she hasn't taken me up on the offer.
That, I understand, but that wasn't what I was referring to.
I meant the guys that say, "What, you turned the heat on already? It's only 35 degrees out. You *****."
