but congrats!
I'm still aways off from living in CR. I actually would be more inclined to live in North Liberty.Congrats! (Minus the having to live in Cedar Rapids part).
With the way the work schedule breaks down (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off, rinse and repeat), I can probably make more games than I'd expected. :yes:Awesome news Nick! Now go get some basketball tickets to celebrate.
It's basketball Friday! And I'm leaving work in about 5 minutes.GTO is really nerding out today.

If I have to see one more of these ******* things on Facebook I'm going to scissor kick that person.
Well, it's official! We have some AMAZING, but shocking news! WE'RE EXPECTING!!! woot woot! A little over 7 weeks and counting. I know we're shocked too!! We can hardly believe it ourselves!! We weren't going to post it, but since you're all family & friends, we wanted to make it official. We're too overwhelmed to keep it a secret!!! Who would of guessed that of all people WE would be expecting?! But we are!! We're expecting Santa Claus in just 7 weeks! Copy and paste if you have a sense of humor. Let's see how many people read the whole status! Hohoho ☃

I love to read Scalia's supreme court dissents for the same reason. He's the only justice who throws in words like "pure applesauce" and "jiggery-pokery". He's also the best at making "I respectfully dissent" mean "you all should go **** yourselves"George Will was at his literary best today. I am talking writing and not ideology. Keep in mind I fought against the Nationalists in the Spanish Civil War and am rarely going to agree with Will but always check him out as a thesaurus exercise. I did happen to agree with him today but wanted to share his word gems of the day:

Congrats and welcome back!
I have a house for you to buy about that time...
Don't listen to Pants CR is a great place to live...just stay away from the SE side. NL looks nice but from my little experience there it had a huge population boom (they are actually doing a special census for them) and the town infrastructure especially the road network has struggled to keep up.
00 can shed more light on this.
You are correct on NL, but they're trying. Biggest thing we found was it didn't actually feel like a community. On our cul-de-sac with 10-ish houses...by the time we left, there were two original owners of the houses when we moved in (or that were built since we did). This was over 6 years...so in 6 years, 80% turnover on owned houses. It's just such manic expansion that it's almost too much...for us anyway.
It isn't cheap either...
