We've lived rural since 2003; we haven't had any trick-or-treaters at our door in all that time. I'm actually really looking forward to being in a neighborhood where I get to see all the little kids running around in costumes. :)
 
I was feeling pretty sad that I'd have another PB&J for lunch, and then I realized I have my leftovers from olive garden last night. I'm almost as bad as pants about going to the grocery store.

can't move in together, you'll starve to death!
 
today's treat table needs to be moved back over by me. Not just for easier access, but for more traffic. It's by the door right now. So it's people going in and out, so they don't grab food then. When it's over by me, there's a lot of traffic to and from the restrooms, printer, etc. back to their desks. Treats disappear much faster. I can't take home that whole bowl of puppy chow mix. That'd be super dangerous to have around.

I have fruit/cereal/milk and some other stuff. I COULD cook, I just don't have sandwich stuff. I'm not big on cooking for myself because then I have to eat the same thing for several days.

He did try telling me that he doesn't make emotional decisions. He posed some hypothetical that if he had to push a button and either I'd die and 15 strangers would be saved, or I'd live and 15 strangers would die....that he'd save the 15 people. I got ******.

What if it were 15 puppies? Would you want him to let 15 adorable puppies die?

Thank you for posting this. I'm wearing a Wham costume tonight and have had Wake Me Up Before You Go Go stuck in my head all day. The Selena song might actually be an improvement.

Well that's just stupid on his part. It would be different if you asked the question and he gave an honest answer.

Come on Pants, you're supposed to be the master and even I knew that

Agreed. Come on Pants. Captain Kirk rigged that one simulator to win that unwinnable scenario. Dammit Jim. You can do better than that.
 
I don't know that I could make that choice under those circumstances. If the one person was PapaLew or one of my kids/grandkids...

I just don't know.

I'm not even sure I could do it if the 15 & 1 were all total strangers that I would never see or meet.

Sorry, no back up from me here.
