Not to drag all the drama in here, but the amount of flak I got for calling the staff into question was bordering on comedic. Asking questions of a coach who floundered in years 5 and 6 and is fielding a stagnant offense in year 7 is a completely legitimate topic.

You take that back! The New Radicals were one of the newest, most radical bands of all time and they are musical geniuses. If you listen intently to their music, you will at the very least get about as much as what you give.

Anyone ever have Professor Schmidt for political science? Guy says he's been here for 45 years!
Crazy that I was taking a seminar? Crazy that I took a Schmidt seminar? Crazy that he was teaching in 1991? And/ or crazy that I enjoyed it?
Crazy he was teaching in 25 years ago and now I'm taking one of his classes, I really enjoy him
He was very entertaining and knowledgeable. I also appreciated that (back then at least) he didn't engage in the time-honored practice of telling students what they should think. He was focused on providing background and a frame work to encourage critical thinking.

Also my favorite part about him, doesn't tell you his beliefs, just gives you the information to make your own stances on a topic
How can someone who has been teaching political science from back in the Nixon days not just have been reduced to complete cynicism? I thought back then that politics and politicians couldn't get worse than Nixon and Wallace and their ilk. I was so wrong.
