I think its been a pretty civil discussion about the past few seasons, the current situation, and the future of this program. Some of the questions being asked NEED to be asked. :)

Thanks GTO. Now I have that song stuck in my head.

Fun fact, at Hawaii games they play the Israel Kamakawiwo'ole version of that song between the third and fourth quarter. The PA guy sings along, too. With the microphone still on.

Link? I like Iz but have never heard that one and can't find it.

Holy cow...the cool weather last week signaled to der hund that it's time to lose the summer coat and get his winter one. I brushed a small sweater worth of hair off of him this morning.

I've changed my mind about GTO's song.

That damnable John Denver song is now stuck in my head!

If you like Country Roads try the reggae version by Toots and the Maytals. It is awesome! (sorry, can't link at work)

Damn work internet blocking reddit, anything I'm missing?

Person had to take their huge tigerhawk off their garage, so were whining about it, someone else came in and said they should have replaced it with the confederate flag. Subject of the thread was "I always knew Iowa fans were backwards rednecks."

And here I was hoping for something shocking. lol

Heh...hopefully nothing too bad. The weirdest is going thru a slow layoff where they come and walk people out one by one. Had one of those a few months before the plant closed at my first job out of college. You sit there trying to look busy, but not wanting to start something you won't finish. You really don't want to be there, but you're glad you're still there (so far).

Yeah that is no fun. At my last job we went through two rounds of lay offs and a major slow down before they cancelled the project and got rid of the remaining 600 of us.

For the last eight months or so my only task was about two hours worth of work once a week. Sadly I sat right on an aisle so everyone could see what I was doing. Basically I played on my phone all day and moved my mouse every few minutes so it didn't look like I was gone for very long.l (instant messaging application automatically made your status to away if you didn't do anything for a minute or so). Oh and I took two daily walks around the plant.

Thats pretty much where I'm at without the threat of layoffs. Its one of the many reasons I'm ready to head back to Iowa. I'm so bored.

Yeah. Little Wx doesn't want to lay still anymore. His changing table is on top of his dresser which is right in front of a window. Last night after getting wiped but pre diaper application he got on fours and put his butt against the window.

I couldn't miss a picture opportunity like that.

We have found that if there is something to distract the baby they may not wiggle as much. I have used books, toys, hats, and random other things.

Rev's catching up, Hey Rev! I always just tried to keep a hand on our boys, seemed to give them the signal that I wasn't done yet.
