Good to get out hiking again now that the kids are old enough. Went to Palisades. Only 2 negative things were finding that Ty and Kenzie decided to share their love with everyone by scrawling it with marker all over the gazebo (literally, it was in there like 30 times), and enjoying nature with the people who can't stop smoking even long enough to enjoy a hike in nature, so they smoke their way down the trail.

The smoking thing annoys me when people are out hiking. I followed a couple that complained about how the trail needed to be easier so that people could enjoy it more as they smoked their way up the trail and chugged sodas at a break point. It was a more agressive trail, but their were signs at the trailhead stating that 'This trail is very rugged and steep. Do not atempt when it's wet due to slickrock along top half of trail."

I was hiking Diamondhead once and there's this landing area to take a break at right before the final climb to the top. There was this woman starting to light up, and I told her it's a non-smoking trail. She flipped her **** on me. It became a yell fest (well, from her. I don't yell in any circumstances). Those type of people sadden me. For anyone that's hiked up Diamondhead, it's not a long hike. Maybe 45 minutes to an hour round trip. If you can't wait that long and just enjoy nature before lighting back up, you've got a real problem.

Well, I am/was:

Trustworthy
Loyal
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
Obedient
Cheerful
Brave
Clean
and
Reverent

Did I get that right? Been a while and my Cub Scout scrapbook contains only Mickey Mantle newspaper clippings (mostly CR Gazette).

You missed thrifty (between cheerful and brave) :spinny:
