Same here. I'm like a freaking furnace. I can never use a blanket or I will sweat like crazy no matter how cold. I only use the sheets. Wife complains whenever I hold the baby because she says I make him too hot.

I haven't even bought a blanket since moving here. I mostly just sleep on the sheets.

Calling it a night. Since it's Minnesota I'll be sleeping under a sheet AND a light knit cotton blanky.

I went total cowgirl move tonight with the rum. Bold move, I need to keep up with this thread more. Miss you folks

The post-game meltdown on CF is pretty mild. Not even sure it merits being called a meltdown. Guess expectations from most had already been pretty low.

I just don't understand the infamous CF meltdowns. These people panic like they actually expect us to win 10 games or something. And with the absolute knee jerk reactions they would make the worst coaches. "Richardson had an incomplete pass?! Bench him!" "Brown missed a gap?! Get him out!" "Harris missed a tackle?! Fire BURNHAM!!!!"

Seriously, I'm shocked we haven't had more posters die from aneurysms. It's a game. A game that your only connection to is a team you cheer for. Settle the **** down about it already.

So Pants how did the Rainbows do should we be adopting them as our back up team to cheer for?

CG, plants looked nice for the front steps.

Played the same time as ISU, so I didn't see the game, but they lost 38-0. Not really surprising, though, they were playing Ohio State at Ohio State.

Despite the results last year, I still don't think OSU deserved to be in the playoff, but this year, they sure as hell look like they're the real deal.

Well maybe ISU could schedule a home and home with them, be an expensive trip though.

Any non conference team that schedules a home game at Hawaii gets the NCAA's Hawaii rule, which is the option to have one additional home game that season to use ticket sales to help offset the travel. So there is a benefit to it. Would definitely be interesting, but I don't see it happening. Usually they play PAC 12 or military teams in their non-con. I think the only reason they had osu scheduled was because the AD that got fired this summer was from there. Though they do play Wisconsin this year as well.

There's this, like, 85 year old woman that's at the gym every night. She's always there, with her weird tinted sunglass goggles one, armband with her iPod and her shorts that are way too short and way too loose in the legs and show her cooter way more often than anyone would want to see, and I see her and think "why?" When I'm that age, I'm probably going to go out in a ball of glory and doing all I want to, not wasting an hour and a half of my life every night trying to get to 90. Hell, the only reason I go to the gym a 32 is so Nickels doesn't vomit when she sees me in my birthday suit.

I call these the pants whizzers. They feel like they're not good enough of a fan if they don't throw a fit and pee their pants if ISU loses a game.

Since it's now a 3 week pattern, I've pretty much cut out pop entirely. I usually have one on Sunday, but other than that, none. And I previously drank an embarrassingly large amount of it.

66 degrees in the big room this morning. Waiting for sun angle to elevate over the trees to warm things up in here a little bit.

This has me reassessing why I work out at all. If I cut out my trip to Mexico I might not need to exercise at all. No Mexico and the only people that would see me without a shirt on would be doctors and nurses and you know how infrequently guys go to the doctor.

Must ponder this some.

Yup, 43 degrees outside. Oldest had softball yesterday and today, actually perfect weather once it warms up just a bit.

Exciting weekend when the adults are asleep by 9:30-10pm because you have to get up at 5:30 on Saturday.

Yesterday did feel fall like here in Mpls. When I went biking it was decent in the sun but in the shade or when sun went behind clouds it was pretty chilly on the bike. I am apparently a warm sunny day biker. Maybe need to get a decent windbreaker or something cause weather that seems fine to me at home isn't so fine when you add a bike speed generated windchill effect.

Yeah, we took a jog/bike ride around 11am. We all she'd sweatshirts 1/2 way through then hit the point in our route where we head back north into the wind. Sweatshirts back on.
