A lot of the receiver hype is just that, hype. They don't get separation and they don't consistently get open and that includes Lazard.

Plus, like Pants notes, we have no running game at all, not even from our QB so all they have to do is cover receivers. It's going to be a very very bad year.

Right, with the touchdown. Which I was ok with them giving up so we'd have two minutes left to come back and tie it again, as opposed to have Ferentz run the clock down and kick a chip shot field goal with 4 seconds left to win 20-17 and not even give our team a chance to come back.

Haven't been to campus area of IC lately, but there's this one gal at work who always wears tight clothes, and I was thinking "you know, when your boobs change dramatically from night to night, we know it's just padding." Hawaii is usually a pretty top program, but they haven't been as high the last year or two. That's a big win - since I also think FL beat TX and TX beat Nebby at Nebby.

I BELIEVE their top assistant went to UCLA? Took one of their stud freshman with a few years back too. I believe that coach was pretty much the main recruiter. Shoji can only get by so much on reputation.

I don't think it's going to be a very, very bad year. I think our chances for a bowl are pretty much nil, but I would still consider 5 wins and staying competitive a big step forward.

got these today.........they are facing east which is probably bad, but they look nice on the porch. Can always move them to the patio if they look sad. I avoided the red and white combo, didn't want to be mistaken for a Badger person. They are just starting to bloom.

Yeah, there's also different girls I think I'd rather ask out, I just need to think about what I want to do. Because I don't feel like I can just ask a girl out, get turned down, move onto the next one and repeat. That'll just make me look desparate and I think it'll make them less likely to say yes.

Yeah, they've had a bit of turnover the last few years. A lot of fans, though they love him, think it's time for Shoji to retire. Most think that's why they lost the coach to UCLA, because they were sick of waiting to take over at UH and the rumors are Shoji's style and attitude just isn't that conducive to the personalities of 18-22 year olds anymore.

I figure wins over Kansas and maybe Texas with the rest being losses. So, my prediction is 2-10 pessimistic and 3-9 optimistic.

I think Toledo (yes I know about the Arkansas game), Kansas and Texas Tech are all very winnable games. Texas doesn't look good, but talent is still there. I'm curious to see how KSU progresses without their starting quarterback this season.
