This is tangentially related to a topic being discussed here. I just came home from a high school volleyball game. Holy crap our high school has a good volleyball team.

Good volleyball is fun to watch. My niece's middle school team is much improved over last year both the A &B squads are pretty fun to watch.

This waitress at my job told me on an average night she get over a $150. And I only get $32-$40.... Thats ********.

Sooooo in my early stages of job hunting to come home, I had a phone call with a recruiter last night. Has anyone had any experience with these people? What an absolute waste of time. Orlando =/= eastern Iowa....

I think it just depends on the recruiter. Some are good, some not so much.

I've had zero luck with them. I found they (somewhat understandably) take care of the people paying the bills (the employer).

This is my first experience with them and likely my last. I was very underwhelmed with the process. Applying out of state is hard as I found out last year so I wanted to use any resources possible but it didn't really seem like they were interested despite having contacted me.

Volleyball--watched a scrimmage of 3rd/4th grade rec league. That was somewhat painful. As a mom, it was nice to see pretty much everyone was on the same level--you gotta start somewhere. There were lots of cheers if the ball went over the net on a serve (about 30% of the time, and they pretty much serve from the front row) and cheers if someone managed to return a ball back over the net.
