Are you a flamingo? Standing on one leg all the time could cause this issue.

My sister's a podiatrist so I know some stuff. Isn't that how genetics works?

as someone in the field, yes. I can confirm correlation equals causation and genetics transfer knowledge via passive osmosis.

the turning thing isn't something I think that has been lifelong so now I'm reading about hip and knee stuff. Maybe it's my pirmoris something muscle in my hip. I may be fixable!

Fly to Italy and have custom made shoes tailored to your feet.

or

Buy two pairs and find someone who has a right foot smaller than her left to share with.

Edit: Oh, hell, Velo already covered this. :embarrassed:

do you think I can convince DH of the necessity of option A?

so DH says when he kicks the kickball, he does so with the side of his foot vs the toe. I think I need to use my foot to my advantage. Since it already turns out slightly, I should try side kicking with the left and I'm certain to get a great hit each time.

Kicking it with the toe of foot gives you no advantage when it comes to placing the ball in an open space. DH is the genius on this one.

If you're kicking with your toe, it's no wonder you are not very good at it. Ever watch how a field goal kicker kicks?

My wife claims that her feet grew a half size when she got pregnant. CG, if my math is right, you're 4.5 months pregnant.

Probably this one too.

I've heard several accounts of people breaking toes this way. Use the side of your foot or kick with the laces of your shoe. Little lesson from Soccer 101 for ya.
