I have the app on my phone and get the e-mails. If you go that route, I'd advise spamming them and then occasionally checking them otherwise they get overwhelming. I hafta admit, I've gotten some pretty good deals on a few things. As with anything, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. There are some really junky products on there. And some of the services have some sketchy details buried in their fine print.
Way to go. You just destroyed months of groundwork with Nickels. You dropped off her "rebound" list.
I feel stupid for not knowing or suspecting this, but I recently discovered that there is such a thing as a "paid reviewer". I guess certain people get paid to review products on websites like Amazon, Groupon, etc and give 5 star ratings despite never having any interaction with the product.
Again, I feel dumb for not suspecting this was a thing, but the seediness of this practice sorta pisses me off.

That's okay I can still work my magic. I was once off CG's list and now I'm sitting at #2 if DH doesn't work out.
BTW, I laughed at your post on the Free Time thread, but I'm not liking it.
I always heard Kansas City was the Paris of the Midwest because of all the fountains. Maybe it's the Rome of the Midwest. I can't remember. Buenos Aires is the Paris of South America.
One of my friends visited Machu Picchu. He said it was really cool but there was Llama poop all over the path on the way up.
