PS: All of the dorm temperature stuff reminded of how the heat pipes would sometimes get banging at night in Birch Hall. Drove me crazy. Had to grab the quilt and go sleep in the commons a couple of times.

I had the day off of work yesterday. I installed a new flapper in a toilet and worked from 8-12 and 1-3:30 installing a new faucet and drain in our downstairs bathroom. I also did returns to 2 stores, did 2 loads of laundry, installed a pendant light in the kitchen and made pancakes for the kids for breakfast. Not exactly the relaxing day I was hoping for.

Yes, I didn't have to work because of the federal holiday and if I didn't do it yesterday I would have had to do it at a different time. Still, I feel the need to rant a bit.
